![]() You make a move on Victor and I’ll exorcise you myself, you witch!! A wrong kind of need takes Vic to go to the FPMP to perform the exorcisms he promised but nothing is as it seems and it’s going to take a long time to clean all the repeaters haunting the place and one sentient ghost in particular that has set her eyes on sweet sweet revenge. The whole book is set in the FPMP headquarters and we get to know more about Laura Kim, Constantine Dreyfuss, Richie and a new psych, an empath, called Jack Bly. He may still have a bit of a drug problem, with all his pills, but I think he will learn to dose them at best to avoid them becoming a problem for him and for the ones he cares about, his family. He’s so much different from the man he was in the first book he has now more friends he cares about, he knows more about his talent and uses it cleverly, and has someone he loves and trusts with all his heart. Victor Bayne has been through hell and he’s come out stronger and wiser, and maybe also a little bit softer. Is this review an Ode to Victor Bayne?
